The new 2009 Emergency Medical Products Catalog is mailing soon but here’s a sneak peak at just one of the hot new products EMP will be carrying:
This new CPR manikin is guaranteed to be the future of CPR/AED training. The manikin is similar to the Laerdal Little Anne. At this time infant and child Prestan Professional Manikins are not available but they’re in the works. If you’re in the market for child and infant manikins right away fear not! EMP has all the medical education and training equipment you need.
Take a moment to share your thoughts and comments on the You Tube manikin video.

When, exactly, will the Prestan child & infant CPR manikins be available on the market?
The Prestan Professional Manikins will be featured in the new EMP Catalog however they are available now. The child and infant manikins will be available in approximately 6 – 12 months.
OK, great. Thanks for the info!
No problem. If you need anything else just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
I notice that there is no conductor or foil in order to make the electrical path for using AED’s fully. Are you going to add this feature and will retro kits be avaiable?
The only defib trainer that needs the aluminum strip is the Philips for its FRx and OnSite Trainer. Philips sells an internal manikin adapter for use with these trainers.
For all other trainers, there is no need for the aluminum strip and the Prestan manikin works with all of the AED trainers.
You can use the Philips adapter when using Prestan manikins. The adapter is needed because of the trainer, not because of the manikin.
Any updates on the infant Prestan manikin? Will pricing be similar to the adult manikin?
The Infant Prestan Manikin is not expected for another six months. As far as pricing, we do not know for sure until the product is distributed. Sincerely, EMP Inc
Are the Prestan Infant Manikins available to order yet?
They aren’t available for order yet but our vendor says that the Prestan Infant/Baby Manikin is due by end of Year. Sincerely, Sarah at EMP
