Philips sells an internal manikin adapter for use with these trainers. For all other trainers, there is no need for the aluminum strip and the Prestan manikin works with all of the AED trainers. You can use the Philips adapter when using Prestan manikins. The adapter is needed because of the trainer, not because of the manikin. The only defib trainer that needs the aluminum strip is the Philips for its FRx and OnSite Trainer. Philips sells an internal manikin adapter for use with these trainers.
