Acetaminophen vs. Your Liver

by EMP Editor on February 18, 2011

Did you know more than 600 over-the-counter and prescription medicines, such as pain relievers, cough suppressants and cold medications, contain the active ingredient acetaminophen?

It’s safe and effective when you follow the label information, but has the potential to severely damage your liver.

If you take more acetaminophen than directed, more than one medicine containing acetaminophen, or consume three or more alcoholic drinks everyday while using acetaminophen you could be harming your liver.
